"Bathrooms dark and dingy. Reading lights only on one side of double bed and lighting very dim in general (very hard to work or read at night in the room). Not enough drawers or tables for a stay of more than a day or two (and there was plenty of room in the room itself). The hot water didn't work when we arrived. Rust came out of all the faucets when first turned on.
On the other hand, all the staff were helpful, friendly, and attentive. You have a good crew in the hotel. Just an aging infrastucture that needs a lot of updating and attention to detail. It's a good location and a fair price but I wouldn't stay there again at this point and I couldn't recommend it."

The Mayfair opened its door Feb 1, 1927 to the glamour of the roaring twenties. The newly renovated Mayfair still reflects the grandeur of the era.
