We would like to advise you that the Sofitel Los Angeles is undergoing a total hotel renovation that will last until March 2006.
The hotel will remain open for business, as the work will be done, with the concern to have limited disturbance to the guests.
Currently, the renovation is limited to an isolated area of the hotel encompassing only sleeping rooms. Beginning July 01st, the second phase of our renovation, which will include the lobby, restaurant and bar, fitness center and new spa, will commence. As a convenience to the guests, we will relocate, all mentioned, on the second floor of the hotel.
In regards to the pool, we do anticipate a closing at an undetermined time this year. While all plans are in place to minimize guest disturbances, construction noise may be expected during daytime hours.
Our hotel renovation will be complete early in the 1st quarter of 2006. Please do not hesitate to contact the hotel directly should you require any additional information.
