"At first the desk clerk couldn't find my reservation. When I showed him my confirmation email, he checked with a supervisor to find out what code to use, and then all was OK. A very minor glitch in an otherwise satisfactory stay.
Hotel offers automatic checkout via the TV screen in your room, with a keyboard to enter an email address for sending a receipt. Day and a half later, haven't received email, but I'm hopeful.
Hotel is very convenient to the Staples Center (across the street) and the L.A. Convention Center (1 block away), is 4 blocks from Kinko's for business matters, and Macy's Plaza for shopping. Hotel restaurant has excellent Thai salad dish. The wait staff seemed harried, and I think need more people on duty. They were courteous, just overworked."
